Non prescription sleep aids are often sought by those suffering from insomnia. This is a condition where the person has trouble falling asleep during the night, suffers from erratic sleeping patterns or constantly wakes up during the night. Combination of Herbs You can combine all the above herbs (not the melatonin) into a tea as they will not affect or interact with one another. Simply make a mixture of equal parts of each herb and brew 1 tbsp of your mix with boiling water. Let it steep for 10 minutes and drink at least 20-30 minutes before bedtime.
